"Red Prairie Dawn" is a modern composition of Gary Harrison of Illinois in
A major (sometimes G major). This tune is made for cross tuned fiddles:
AEAE (or GDGD).
Gary Harrison also wrote "Dull Chisel". The banjo tablature is by John Letscher. His comment: "Mainly from his (Gary Harrison's) and Adam Hurt's renditions."It was recorded by Garry Harrison and the Mule Team on Red Prairie Dawn (2000) and Adam Hurt on Artifacts (2016). |
