"Admiral Nelson", also known as "Miss Baker's Hornpipe" is a Scottish reel or
hornpipe in F Major. The parts are played AABB.
There is some resemblance to "The Sailor's Hornpipe" and "The Flowers of Edinburgh". It is attributed to Dunkeld, Perthshire, fiddler-composer Niel Gow (1727-1807) by Hunter. It was printed in Hunter's Fiddle Music of Scotland (1988) and Banalari's Celtic Encyclopedia (1999). |
