A Mixolydian ('B' part).
The parts are played AAB.
Whalsay is a peat-covered island in the Shetland Islands. It is situated
east of the Shetland Mainland and has an area of 7.6 square miles.
The main local industries are fishing and crofting agriculture.
The tune was printed in Brody's Fiddler's Fakebook (1983) and
Martin & Hughes' Ho-ro-gheallaidh (1990).
