"Frogs' Frolic" is a Scottish and American jig in E Minor. The parts are played AAB.
It is probably derived from Niel Gow's "Dunkeld House", probably composed in the 1770's. The A parts, in particular, are very similar. The B part is only 14 measures long.
The title "Frogs' Frolic" sounds like something that you would find in The Dancing Master but it is not that old.
It was printed in Cole's 1000 Fiddle Tunes (1940) and Ryan’s Mammoth Collection (1883).
