"Rob Roy MacGregor", in Gaelic "Rob Ruadh Macghriogair" is a Scottish strathspey in 4/4 time and E Minor or E Minor ('A' and 'C' parts) & G Major ('B' and 'D' parts). The parts are played AABCD (Fraser) or AABB'CCD (Athole). It was printed in Fraser's The Airs and Melodies Peculiar to the Highlands of Scotland and the Isles (1816) and Stewart-Robertson's The Athole Collection (1884). It was recorded by Alasdair Fraser & Natalie Haas on Fire and Grace (2004) and Abby Newton on Castles, Kirks and Caves.
