"Holy Manna" is attributed to William Moore (1790-1850). It was printed in The Sacred Harp, page 59 and The Southern Harmony, page 103. It was published in 199 hymnals. In Lutheran practice, this tune is used for Catherine Cameron's "God Who Stretched the Spangled Heavens" in The Lutheran Book of Worship and Evangelical Lutheran Worship and for Sylvia Dunstan's "All Who Hunger, Gather Gladly" in Evangelical Lutheran Worship.
