"The Traveller" is from The Southern Harmony, pg. 79 By William B. Collyer, in A Selection of Hymns from the Best Authors, by John Rippon, seventh edition, 1827. The tune is similar to "Pilgrim" in this section. (The Southern Harmony pg. 150 and The Sacred Harp, pg. 201). It is also similar to the English folk tune "King's Lynne" (in the Tunes section), a version of which is used for "Botany Bay" (in the English Songs section). There is another melody by the same name in The Sacred Harp which is quite different.
