"Frost and Snow", in Gaelic "Sioc agus Sneacd", also known as "In comes great Bonaparte with
Forty Thousand Men", is an Irish hornpipe in A Dorian. The parts are played AABB.
The melody was employed as an air in "In comes great Bonaparte with Forty Thousand Men" which
George Petrie (1790-1866) obtained from a younger collector, P.W. Joyce (1827-1914).
It was printed in Krassen's O'Neill (1976) and O'Neill's Music of Ireland: 1850 Melodies (1903).
