"The Gipsies Hornpipe" is an Irish hornpipe in G Major. The parts are played AABB. Joyce says it was "...copied from (a) very old well-written manuscript lent to me in 1873 by Mr. J. O'Sullivan, of Bruff, Co. Limerick". This is a hornpipe but very different from "The Gypsy" in this section. It was printed in Joyce's Old Irish Folk Music and Song (1909).
