"Green Fields of America", also known as "Garranta Glasa Mheiriceá", "Paircib Glais America", "Green Fields of America", "Greenfields of Virginia", "Greenfields of Canada", "Charming Molly Brannigan", "Pretty Molly Brallaghan", "Pretty Judy Brallaghan", "Judy Brallaghan", "Judy Brannagan", "Molly Brallaghan", "Miss Wedderburn's Reel", "Cossey's Jig", "Jimmy O'Brien's Jig" is an Irish jig in G major. Samuel Bayard (1981) sees the tune as having two separate versions, a song air which is the elder and an instrumental air deriving from it. It has been printed in Kerr's Merry Melodies, vol. 1 and vol. 3, O'Neill's Music of Ireland: 1850 Melodies (1903), Cole's 1000 Fiddle Tunes (1940) and Bayard's Dance to the Fiddle (1981) among others.
