"Harvest Home", in Gaelic "Baile an Fhómhair", also known as
"Harvest Time", "Cincinnati Hornpipe", "The Cork Hornpipe",
"Reel des récoltes" and "Stage Hornpipe" is a hornpipe in D major known in
England, Scotland, Ireland, Canada and America. The parts are played AAB (Martin),
AA'B (Mitchell), AABB (most versions), AABB' (Hardie), AA'BB' (O'Malley) or
AABC (Kerr).
The "Harvest Home" melody can be found in the mid-19th century music manuscript collection of Sliabh Luachra musician D. Curtin, under the generic title "The English Hornpipe". In modern times it is often paired with "The Boys of Bluehill" in Irish sessions.
