"The Hillside", also known as "Joe Kennedy's Jig" is an OIrish Jig in E Minor and 6/8 time. The parts are played AABB. It was printed in Raven's English Country Dance Tunes (1984). I learned this from Don Wisniewski's collection. This plays well in medleys with:       "O'Keefe's Slide"       "The Road to Lisdoonvarna"       "The Swallowtail Jig" all in this section.
