"Kiss the Bride", in Gaelic "Póg an Bhrídeog", also known as<br> "Blackberry Blossom", "The Early Rose" or "The Strawberry Banks" is an Irish reel in<br> G Major. The parts are played AA'B (O'Neill/1850 & 1001), AABB (Cole, Connolly & Martin)<br> or AA'BB' (Krassen).<br> Seamus Connolly (2002) notes that he heard this reel played fairly often on Radio<br> Telefís Éireann in the 1960's, though adds that it is not played much in recent times.<br> It was printed in Cole's 1000 Fiddle Tunes (1940),<br> Connolly & Martin's Forget Me Not (2002),<br> Krassen's O'Neill's Music of Ireland (1976),<br> O'Neill's Music of Ireland: 1850 Melodies (1903) and<br> Dance Music of Ireland: 1001 Gems (1907) and<br> Ryan's Mammoth Collection (1883).<br>
