"The Reel of Mullinavat" (in Gaelic "Seisd/Cor Muilleann A'Bata" or "Ríl Mhuileann an Bhata")
also known as "Paddy Breen's Reel" is an Irish reel in E Dorian/Minor. The parts are played AB
(Breathnach), AA'B (O'Neill/Krassen), AABB (Miller) or AA'BB' (O'Neill/1850, 1001 & 1915).
Mullinavat is in County Kilkenny. Bayard (1981) sees his Pennsylvania collected "Running Through the
Rain to Keep Your Hair Dry" as a form of this tune.
