"The Sail 'Round the Rocks" is an Irish slip jig in 9/8 time and G Major. The parts are played AB or AABB. A similarly titled, but unrelated, tune is "The Sailor on the Rock". It was printed in Bancalari's Celtic Encyclopedia, Mandolin Edition (1999) and Darley & McCall's The Feis Ceóil Collection of Irish Airs (1914).
