"Tansey's Favourite", also known as "Tansey’s Fancy", "Tansy’s Fancy" or "Tansey’s Favorite"<br> is an Irish jig in G major. The parts are played AABB.<br> The titles of this tune and “The Bride’s Favourite” were reversed on the third track of the<br> Steeleye Span album Below the Salt. As a result there are some people who call each of these<br> tunes by the other’s name.<br> It was recorded by Steeleye Span and others.<br> I first learned this from the Steeleye Span recording.<br>
