"Willie Winkie" is an Irish polka in 2/4 time and G Major. The parts are played AABBC. "Mary O'Hara", also printed in Joyce's collection, is a distanced 6/8 version of this version of "Willie Winkie". It was printed in Joyce's Old Irish Folk Music and Songs (1909). It was recorded by The Baltimore Consort on The Mad Buckgoat: Ancient Music of Ireland (1999).
