"Willy's Single", also known as "Rowsome’s", "Rowsome’s Slip", "Willie’s Single" or "Willies Single" is an Irish jig in D Major. The parts are played AAB. Willy Clancy introduced this tune, but he may have gotten it from Levey’s Dance Music of Ireland second collection (1873) where a similar tune is listed as "Untitled". In 1955 Peter Kennedy recorded Willie Clancy and Bobby Casey playing this tune which they called "Rowsome’s Single Jig". It was recorded by Danny Diamond on Elbow Room (2017), Willie Clancy & Bobby Casey on Willie Clancy And Bobby Casey, Sean Keane on Jig It In Style (1990), Pat Mitchell on Uilleann Pipes (1976) and The Chieftains on Water From The Well (2000).
