"Hansen's Hornpipe" is an interesting and complex tune by Steve Sutton (1956 - 2017) from Haywood County, North Carolina. Sutton played banjo and, choosing between offers from both Bill Monroe and Jimmy Martin, toured with Jimmy Martin beginning in 1974. At the Monday jam we play it AA BB AA CC until we're tired of it and end with two A parts. I learned this at our Monday night jam.
