"Stambaugh Waltz" was written by Craig Johnson (1953 - 2009). His comment about it was "This is for my friend Liz Stambaugh". I don't know anything else about it. I first heard it played on piano by Adam Hurt on his Artifacts CD (2016). He plays it at a nice easy tempo (possibly too slow for dancing but I can't verify that). It was also recorded by The Double Decker String Band on Giddyap Napoleon (1980), Boiled Buzzards on Fine Dining (1991) and Matt Brown on My Native Home (2010).
