"Ukulele Lady" is a popular standard by Gus Kahn and Richard A. Whiting, published in 1925, the song was first made famous by Vaughn De Leath. It was recorded by The Paul Whiteman Orchestra with vocals by The Southern Fall Colored Quartet on June 12, 1925 and subsequently by Jim Kweskin and the Jug Band in 1965, Arlo Guthrie on his 1972 album Hobo's Lullaby and Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy in the second season of The Muppet Show. I learned it from Jim Kweskin and the Jug Band.
