"Isle au Haut Lullabye" also known as "Hay Ledge Song" was composed by Gordon Bok.
Gordon's note on it:
"On this one, the tune came first. I was mumbling around the guitar on deck one quiet day and Captain Havilah Hawkins (who was to be one of the leading influences in shifting my concentration from serious sailing to serious music) told me that my greatest contribution to his enjoyment (so far) was the simplicity of my melodies. So this tune came as a guitar's most honest description of the little island we were sailing past at the time: Hay Ledge."
It was recorded on the album Because You Asked and the Bok, Muir & Trickett albums First Fifteen Years Vol I and Turning Toward the Morning, as well as on the album The Music of Ann Mayo Muir and is in the songbook Time and the Flying Snow.
