"Allegheny County" is an American jig or quadrille in 6/8 time and G Major ('A' part) & D Major
('B' part). The parts are played AABBAA.
It was taken from the Hoge MS (No. 33, 1944), transcribed by Samuel Bayard, who notes a
"general resemblance" to the second figure of "Standard Club Quadrille" in Lovett's
Good Morning (p. 10). There is a key change to 'D' in the second part.
It was printed in Bayard's Dance to the Fiddle (1982).
