"The B and O Railroad" is an American hornpipe in D Major. The parts are played AB. Bayard believes this to be a "recombined" tune from other sources. He mentions two similar tunes in Breathnach's Ceól Rince na hEireann. It was collected from J. Morris in Greene County, Pa. in the 1930's by Samuel Bayard. It was printed in Bayard's Dance to the Fiddle (1981).
