"Billy in the Lowland (4)", also known as "Billy in the Lowground", "Calico Billy in the<br> Lowland" or "The Fiddler's Drunk and the Fun's All Over" is an American reel in cut time.<br> There are many variations played in C major. This version in A major is usually played in<br> "Calico" fiddle tuning AEAC# or AEAE for players who only want to retune two strings.<br> The banjo tablature is by John Letscher who picked it up at one of the central Pennsylvania<br> jams.<br> It was printed in <br> Lamancusa's The Gettysburg Collection of Old-Time Fiddle Tunes (2021).<br> It was recorded by Tricia Spencer on Fiddlin' Like There's No Tomorrow, Vol. 2 (2012) and<br> Jason & Pharis Romero and Friends on Back Up and Push (2010).<br>
