"Duck River", also known as "Dubuque", "General Lee", "Sally in the Green Corn" and<br> "Hell Up Coal Holler"<br> is an American old-time breakdown in D Major. <br> This specific "Duck River" tune seems to be particular to the Salyer family of<br> Salyersville, Magoffin County, Kentucky. It is part of a fairly common tune family which<br> includes<br> "Dubuque"<br> in this collection.<br> The banjo tablature is by John Letscher.<br> It was printed in Milliner & Koken's Milliner-Koken Collection of American Fiddle Tunes (2011),<br> Phillips's Traditional American Fiddle Tunes, vol. 2, (1995),<br> Lamancusa's The Gettysburg Collection of Old-Time Fiddle Tunes (2021),<br> Songer's Portland Collection (1997) and<br> Titon's Old-Time Kentucky Fiddle Tunes (2001). <br> It was recorded by Bruce Greene and John M.
