"Dusty Miller" is an American reel in 4/4 time and A Mixolydian. The parts are played AABB.<br> The source for this version is J. P. Fraley of Rush, Kentucky, d. 2011.<br> He said his father had a flour mill and thus he perhaps had an affinity for the tune.<br> This reel is not the same tune as the "Dusty Miller" which is an Irish slip-jig.<br> It was printed sources in Brody's Fiddler's Fakebook (1983),<br> Milliner & Koken's Milliner-Koken Collection of American Fiddle Tunes (2011),<br> Lamancusa's The Gettysburg Collection of Old Time Fiddle Tunes (2021) and<br> Silberberg's Tunes I Learned at Tractor Tavern (2002).<br> It was recorded by J.P. and Annadeene Fraley on Wild Rose of the Mountain (1973).<br>
