"Fair Morning Hornpipe" is an old-time breakdown known in West Virginia.<br> It is from the repertoire of Rush Fork, Clay County, W.Va., fiddler Wilson<br> Douglas (1922-1999). Cape Breton fiddler Joe MacLean recorded an almost<br> completely identical tune, which he called "Nancy".<br> It seems to be a close variation of "Ricketts' Hornpipe" which is widely known<br> both in the British Isles and America.<br> Bobby Taylor also plays this as does Adam Hurt.<br> I haven't found a printed source for this but I learned it from Adam Hurt's<br> recording on his Insight CD.<br>
