"Fair Morning Hornpipe" is an old-time breakdown known in West Virginia.
It is from the repertoire of Rush Fork, Clay County, W.Va., fiddler Wilson
Douglas (1922-1999). Cape Breton fiddler Joe MacLean recorded an almost
completely identical tune, which he called "Nancy".
It seems to be a close variation of "Ricketts' Hornpipe" which is widely known
both in the British Isles and America.
Bobby Taylor also plays this as does Adam Hurt.
I haven't found a printed source for this but I learned it from Adam Hurt's
recording on his Insight CD.
