"Farewell Princeton" is an American reel or breakdown collected from the playing of
Clyde Davenport (October 21, 1921 – February 16, 2020), an old-time fiddler and
banjo player from Monticello, Kentucky. His tunes were recorded by Jeff Titon.
Davenport was a recipient of a 1992 National Heritage Fellowship awarded by the
National Endowment for the Arts.
The tune is crooked with the third measure of the B part in 3/2 time with an extra beat.
It was recorded by Clyde Davenport on Clyde Davenport Volume 2 (2015).
