"Fire-Fly" is an American reel in D Major. The parts are played AB. It is possible this tune was associated with the stage production called The Fire Fly, starring, at one time, the famous mid-19th century actress Lotta Crabtree (who performed in it in Boston in 1868). It was printed in Cole's 1000 Fiddle Tunes (1940) and Ryan's Mammoth Collection (1883). The version in Cole's 1000 is set in 1/16th notes. I have set it in 1/8th note for easier reading.
