is an American old-time breakdown from Braxton County, W.Va. in A Major.
The parts are played ABB'.
It is usually played in AEae fiddle tuning.
This is thought to be a Civil War-era tune, although there is no proof of this.
The banjo tablature is by John Letscher.
It was printed in Lamancusa's The Gettysburg Collection of Old-Time Fiddle Tunes
(2021),
Krassen's Masters of Old Time Fiddling (1983) and
Silberberg's Tunes I Learned at Tractor Tavern (2002).
