"Happy Hollow", also known as "Happy Holler" is an American reel in cut time and A Major. It is played in AEac# fiddle tuning. The parts are played AA'BB.
It is from fiddler Marcus Martin (1881-1974) of Ararat, near Swannanoa, western North Carolina, who was recorded playing the tune in 1942 by field recorder Artus Moser.
The banjo tablature is by John Letscher who says it was
"Learned from the playing of Lucas Poole and Erynn Marshall."
It was printed in Songer's Portland Collection vol. 3 (2015) and Lamancusa's The Gettysburg Collection of Old-Time Fiddle Tunes (2021).
