Samuel Bayard (1981) identifies this as a<br> member of a huge proto-tune group which includes "The Oyster Wives Rant", "The Haughs o'<br> Cromdale", "Wate You How the Play Began", "Welcome Home" and "Sweet Killaloe" among others.<br> It was collected from John Kubina, (near) Davistown, Pennsylvania, September 3, 1943 by<br> Samuel Bayard.<br> It was printed in Bayard's Hill Country Tunes (1944) (appears as "Quadrille"). <br>
