"Indian Corn" is an American reel in G. The parts are played AA'BB'.<br> It was collected from the fiddling of Willie O. Ault, from the small<br> town of Hidalgo, Illinois. Willie was an old fiddler who was 'collected'<br> and field recorded by Garry Harrison in the 1970s when Willie was in his 80s.<br> The collection tape was mislabeled with "Indian Corn" listed as<br> "Ol' Woodward’s Tune" and for years everyone mistakenly called<br> "Indian Corn" by that name.<br> Even though "Indian Corn" and "Calico Corn" refer to the same vegetable,<br> the two names refer to very different tunes.<br> The banjo tablature is by John Letscher.<br> It was recorded by Rhys Jones and Cleek Shrey in the<br> Bigfoot String Band on I've got a Bulldog.<br>
