"Johnson's Impeachment" is an American reel in A Major from southwestern Pa. The parts are played ABCC'.
Bayard identifies this as an American composition, based (at least in the first part) on "Hell on the Potomac". or "Wake Up Susan". He also suggests it may be a recombination of other (Irish) elements, perhaps or not the work of his source's teacher Browning.
It was collected from Walter Neal in 1952 by Samuel Bayard.
It was printed in Bayard's Dance to the Fiddle (1981).
