The parts are played AABB.<br> This version was collected from Thomas Hoge, originally from Greene County,<br> Pennsylvania and one of the founding member of the Pittsburgh Pioneers Martial Band<br> who learned it from Hiram Horner (fifer from Westmoreland and Fayette counties, Pa.)<br> and Charles F. Cook (fifer from Somerset County, Pa.).<br> It was printed in Bayard's Dance to the Fiddle (1981).<br>
