"Newcastle Lasses" is an English reel in G Major. The parts are played AABB.
The melody appears in the 1840 music manuscript collection of Waverton, Cumbria,
musician John Rook.
This is not the same tune as the "Newcastle" tune in the Dancing Master section or
the "Newcastle Bridge" and "The Newcastle Hornpipe" tunes in the Celtic section.
It was printed in Northumbrian Pipers Society's Northumbrian Pipers Pocket Green
Book (1993).
