"Oklahoma Waltz" is an American waltz in C Major. The parts are played AABB (Thede) or
AA'BB' (Phillips).
There are at least six different tunes called "Oklahoma Waltz". Some are in C and some
are in D. Sometimes the parts are played simply AB.
The Collins brothers, Earl and Max, recorded different versions.
This version is from Ed Chastain of Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma as given in Thede.
It was printed in Phillips' Traditional American Fiddle Tunes, vol. 2 (1995) and
Thede's The Fiddle Book (1967).
