Stormstown is a rural area between State College and Port Matilda, adjacent to State Game Lands #176 in Centre County, PA. The population was 2,366 at the 2010 census. When I was at Penn State over 50 years ago, the "Old Stormstown Road" was a make-out destination for those of us with cars. "Stormstown" the tune was collected by Samuel Bayard from James McKivison in Centre County. It is a reel or march in G major. It was printed in Bayard's Dance to the Fiddle (1981).
