"Stuart's Long Bow" is an American reel in cut time and D Major. The parts are
played AA'BB.
The tune is sourced to fiddler Roy Bennett (1895-1986) of Battletown, Meade County,
north-central Kentucky. Meade County is bounded on two sides by the Ohio River.
The state of Indiana is across the river.
The "Long Bow" of the title refers to the fiddle, not the type that was so
effective at Agincourt.
The banjo tab is by John Letscher from the playing of Burt Feintuch and Matt Brown.
It was printed in Phillips' Traditional American Fiddle Tunes, vol. 1 (1994).
It was recorded by Don Pedi on Mountain Magic (2006) and
Jason Cade & Rob McMaken on Hog-Eyed Man 2 (2015).
