"Stuart's Long Bow" is an American reel in cut time and D Major. The parts are<br> played AA'BB.<br> The tune is sourced to fiddler Roy Bennett (1895-1986) of Battletown, Meade County,<br> north-central Kentucky. Meade County is bounded on two sides by the Ohio River.<br> The state of Indiana is across the river.<br> The "Long Bow" of the title refers to the fiddle, not the type that was so<br> effective at Agincourt.<br> The banjo tab is by John Letscher from the playing of Burt Feintuch and Matt Brown.<br> It was printed in Phillips' Traditional American Fiddle Tunes, vol. 1 (1994).<br> It was recorded by Don Pedi on Mountain Magic (2006) and<br> Jason Cade & Rob McMaken on Hog-Eyed Man 2 (2015).<br>
