"Up Jumped Jinny and She Run Like Hell" is an American reel in 4/4 time and G major.<br> It was collected from Brown Hall, a fiddler in Ohiopyle, Fayette County, Pa. in 1956.<br> Samuel Bayard calls this tune "characteristic" but was unable to trace it elsewhere.<br> Despite similarities in title, key and rhythmic structure, this tune and "Up Jumped Jinny<br> with Her Shirt Tail Torn" are melodically different.<br> It was printed in Bayard's Dance to the Fiddle (1981).<br>
