"Wrassled With a Wildcat" is an old-time reel in 2/4 time and A Major
The parts are played AABB'.
It was collected by Marion Thede from W. S. Collins of Potawotomie County, Oklahoma who played
it on the fiddle in AEae tuning. She notes that he played it "fast and furiously".
It was also collected from Earl Collins for the Library of Congress.
It was printed in Thede's The Fiddle Book (1967),
Milliner-Koken's Milliner-Koken Collection of American Fiddle Tunes and
Old Time Fiddling From The State Of Oklahoma.
