"The Lisdoonvarna Reel" is an Irish reel in 4/4 and G major. The parts are played AABB. This is not the same tune as "The Road to Lisdoonvarna" which is a usually played as a slide (9/8) or a jig (6/8). It is related to "Primrose Girl", "The Rose in the Garden", "The Irish Hautboy" and the American "The Smuggler's Reel" It was recorded by Mick Moloney on Strings Attached (1980).
