"Willy's Single", also known as "Rowsome’s", "Rowsome’s Slip", "Willie’s Single" or<br> "Willies Single" is an Irish jig in D Major. The parts are played AAB.<br> Willy Clancy introduced this tune, but he may have gotten it from Levey’s Dance<br> Music of Ireland second collection (1873) where a similar tune is listed as<br> "Untitled".<br> In 1955 Peter Kennedy recorded Willie Clancy and Bobby Casey playing this tune which<br> they called "Rowsome’s Single Jig".<br> It was recorded by Danny Diamond on Elbow Room (2017),<br> Willie Clancy & Bobby Casey on Willie Clancy And Bobby Casey,<br> Sean Keane on Jig It In Style (1990),<br> Pat Mitchell on Uilleann Pipes (1976) and<br> The Chieftains on Water From The Well (2000).<br>
