Sadie G. Koninsky (August 1879–January 2, 1952) was an American composer,<br> music publisher, and music teacher.<br> <br><br> "Eli Green's Cakewalk", which became a popular hit when it appeared in<br> 1898, was also the first cakewalk published by a woman.<br> Some of her work (particularly the marches) was published under her<br> male pseudonym, Jerome Hartman.<br> This version starts in E minor and modulates to G for the B part.<br> The second ending of the B part modulates back to E minor so the third<br> ending is required to end in G.<br> The A part is pretty close to the original sheet music but I can't find<br> the B part anywhere.
