A lot of banjo players and fiddlers call this tune <b>Cherokee <br> Shuffle</b> when played in the key of A and <b>Lost Indian</b> when<br> played in the key of D. This is the A version which is also a square<br> tune. The D version, which is a crooked tune (having two extra<br> measures in both the A and B parts) is also in this section.<br> It has been recorded by Delaware Water Gap, Howard Bursen,<br> Old Reliable String Band, Fennigs All Stars and Norman Blake.<br> I learned it from Howard Bursen's Cider in the Kitchen album.<br> <br> I play this in medleys with:<br> Georgia Railroad<br> Seneca Square Dance<br> both in this section and<br> The Girl I Left Behind Me<br> in the Songs section.<br>
