"Double Hornpipe", also known as "Box the Fox" or "Blockhouse Dutchman" is a reel or breakdown in D Major. The parts are played AB. Bayard (1981) says it was well-known in southwestern Pa. The source for the notated version is Issac Morris of Greene County, Pa. collected by Samuel Bayard in the 1930's. It was printed in Bayard's Dance to the Fiddle (1981).
