"Fire-Fly" is an American reel in D Major. The parts are played AB.<br> It is possible this tune was associated with the stage production called<br> The Fire Fly, starring, at one time, the famous mid-19th century actress Lotta<br> Crabtree (who performed in it in Boston in 1868).<br> It was printed in Cole's 1000 Fiddle Tunes (1940) and<br> Ryan's Mammoth Collection (1883).<br> The version in Cole's 1000 is set in 1/16th notes. I have set it in 1/8th note for<br> easier reading.<br>
