"Happy Hollow", also known as "Happy Holler" is an American reel in cut time and A Major.<br> It is played in AEac# fiddle tuning. The parts are played AA'BB.<br> It is from fiddler Marcus Martin (1881-1974) of Ararat, near Swannanoa, western North<br> Carolina, who was recorded playing the tune in 1942 by field recorder Artus Moser.<br> The banjo tablature is by John Letscher who says it was<br> Learned from the playing of Lucas Poole and Erynn Marshall.<br> It was printed in Songer's Portland Collection vol. 3 (2015) and<br> Lamancusa's The Gettysburg Collection of Old-Time Fiddle Tunes (2021).<br> It was recorded by The Rough Deal Stringband on The Rough Deal Stringband,<br> Marcus Martin on Happy Hollow (2004),<br> Lucas Poole and Erynn Marshall on youtube.<br>
