Also known as "Durroch's Hornpipe". It was printed in<br> Bayard's Hill Country Tunes (#43) from Sarah Armstrong on<br> November 18, 1943.<br> Bayard once thought this tune was a 4/4 make-over of a 6/8<br> double jig "The Walls of Liscarroll" but later (1981)<br> reconsidered that it was rather a version of the<br> Pennsylvania tune "Durroch's Hornpipe" (derived from the<br> Irish "O'Dwyer's Hornpipe").<br> Sarah Armstrong (1883 - 1957) contributed 37 of the 95 tunes in<br> Hill Country Tunes making her the most prolific source.<br> Other Sarah Armstrong tunes in this collection are:<br> "MacDonahue's Hornpipe"<br> "Maggots in the Sheep Hide"<br> "Patty on the Turnpike"<br> "The Snouts and Ears of America"<br> which are also in this section and<br> "Sarah Armstrong's Tune"<br> in the Legacy section.<br>
